Lincoln, Nebraska — TELCOR’s Revenue Cycle Management software solution has achieved 2014 Edition Modular EHR Ambulatory* ONC Health IT Certification, which designates that the software is capable of supporting health care providers with Stage 1 and Stage 2 meaningful use measures required to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Revenue Cycle Management version 13.0 was certified by ICSA Labs, an Office of the National Coordinator-Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) and is compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).

ICSA Labs, an independent division of Verizon, offers vendor-neutral testing and certification. 2014 Edition ONC Health IT Certification is awarded to those technologies that are capable of meeting the more rigorous testing criteria developed to support providers and hospitals with Stage 2 meaningful use, which focuses on the capability of health IT to deliver higher-quality patient care and exchange clinical information securely.

The additional software relied upon to comply with one or more of the certification criteria include: Microsoft Excel or equivalent viewer, NTP Time Server Monitor by Meinberg 1.04. The additional types of costs that could be incurred by a purchaser of this system include: Resources required can include a software license, training fees, installation, computer hardware, telecommunications services, special consultations, customization if requested, interfaces to foreign systems, ongoing software service, software maintenance and miscellaneous supplies. Not all installations require all these resources or at the same level.
