Lincoln, Nebraska — May 28, 2014 — TELCOR Inc announced today it has achieved the prestigious Microsoft Partner status through Microsoft Corp. for the 15th straight year.

The status gives TELCOR early access to the latest Microsoft technologies, training and technical support, which in turn benefit TELCOR’s customers. TELCOR specializes in laboratory software solutions for revenue cycle management, outreach business management and point of care management and must meet strict qualifications each year to retain the Microsoft Partner status.

“Maintaining this designation allows us to better serve our customers,” said Jim Terrano, TELCOR president and chief executive officer. “Customers are our No. 1 priority, and that is why we are committed to maintaining this important status every year.”

TELCOR earned three competencies through the Microsoft Partner Network program for 2014-15 — Gold Application Development, Gold Hosting and Silver Server Platform. Only 1 percent of all Microsoft Partners worldwide attain gold-level proficiencies, and only 5 percent attain silver-level competencies.

The Gold Application Development competency recognizes TELCOR’s ability to develop innovative applications using the Microsoft platform and Microsoft development tools. The Gold Hosting competency recognizes TELCOR’s expertise in server and infrastructure management, and the Silver Server Platform recognizes its expertise in building, designing, deploying and supporting the Windows Server operating system, Windows Server-based applications and Microsoft server infrastructure.

Positive customer feedback was crucial to achieving each competency, as TELCOR had to provide customer references for each area of expertise. TELCOR’s software solutions also had to pass extensive testing by Microsoft, and its software engineers had to obtain Microsoft certifications and pass rigorous Microsoft exams.
