Lincoln, Nebraska — September 10, 2014 — A new president and vice president were elected during TELCOR’s seventh-annual User Group meeting September 7-9 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Jennifer Thomson, of Oxford Immunotec, Inc. in Marlborough, Massachusetts, will now serve as president, and Mike Marshall, of Regional Medical Laboratory in Tulsa, Oklahoma, will serve as vice president. Both will serve in these leadership roles until the next User Group meeting in fall 2015. They will help guide the User Group and continue to help it grow.
Thomson and Marshall were among 75 customers who attended TELCOR’s annual User Group meeting this week, marking the largest User Group attendance to date. The User Group is comprised of customers who use the Revenue Cycle Management and Lab Outreach Business PRO software solutions.
The User Group meets annually to receive product training, exchange ideas with other users and provide feedback on planned product features. The group also conducts monthly conference calls with TELCOR staff to discuss possible product enhancements.
Highlights from this year’s User Group meeting included seven customer experience presentations and a new “learning lab,” where customers could access TELCOR’s system and put into practice what they learned from the sessions.
“The learning lab was very beneficial for me. I’m a hands-on learner, and to be able to see what you are learning and to use it right then was very helpful,” one customer said. “I loved the customer stories. It helped me realize we are coming from the same troubles are moving toward fixing them,” another customer said.
