The House Energy & Commerce Health Subcommittee will convene on Thursday, Jan. 8 to focus on legislative proposals that support patient access to Medicare services.
Among the bills listed in the hearing agenda is the Reforming and Enhancing Sustainable Updates to Laboratory Testing Services (RESULTS) Act of 2025 (H.R. 5269). The bill, introduced Sep. 10, 2025, by Rep. Richard Hudson (R-N.C.) and cosponsors, seeks to “provide long-term stability for Medicare beneficiary access to clinical diagnostic laboratory tests” primarily through streamlined data collection for the private payer-based fee schedule payment rates.
A livestream of the hearing can be found on the House Energy & Commerce Committee website.
