Tools to Maximize Patient Collections2018-05-17T15:08:41+00:00
Interpath just went live with iLabBill this year and we definitely like the integration into TELCOR with the simultaneous posting to the credit card merchant as well to the patient’s account. It’s actually almost doubled the amount of payments online that patients are making.

Patient Collections

TELCOR’s patient-centric design simplifies patient account management and minimizes billing work on repeat patients. TELCOR Revenue Cycle Management offers tools to maximize patient collections. Patients who have multiple services per month will receive one billing statement, avoiding confusion.

The RCM solution includes many rules and pricing options to define how patient transactions are processed to ensure billing is clean and compliant. Self-pay patients are billed at a fee schedule, service date maximum amount, or you can offer client-based pricing in acknowledgment of their uninsured status.

Additionally, if you first bill a payer, you can define rules to change responsibility to the patient and/or apply automatic adjustments prior to billing the patient. Statements are easy to understand with customized formats allowing you to include specific messages based on aging and other criteria. Minimum balance requirements and small balance write-off is performed automatically. Statements can be printed, emailed or transferred to a mailing service for distribution.

Making it easier for patients to pay has been proven to improve collections.  We offer an online patient portal and the ability to authorize credit card payments within the RCM software solution. Incentive discounts can automatically be applied for early payment. We also offer payment plans with workqueues dedicated solely to managing billing plans.

Sending quick, effective communication to patients is easy through the automated account letter process or by sending messages through the patient web portal.
