Lincoln, Nebraska—January 16, 2019— TELCOR Inc is excited to announce the release of an integrated Document Management module. The new Document Management module provides greater efficiency by allowing access to documents while performing work dependent on outside documentation.
Using the Document Management module allows organizations to scan, upload, store, share and access documents important for the billing process. Types of documents include explanation of benefits, requisitions, medical records, correspondence and more. Additionally, the Document Viewer includes access to documents generated in TELCOR RCM so all patient documentation is easily accessed.
The Document Management module uses a scanner to create PDFs and optical character recognition (OCR) software to automatically recognize key data on the document. The documents with metadata are transferred to TELCOR RCM using the metadata to automatically assign keys for easy retrieval of the right documents from any workqueue function. The Document Viewer can remain open while work is performed for optimal efficiency.
With quick access to all documents needed for billing, users are more efficient and productivity is improved.
