Lincoln, Nebraska — June 8, 2011 — TELCOR Inc has been recognized again by Microsoft Corp. as a Microsoft Partner for its technological expertise, it announced Wednesday. This marks the 12th year TELCOR has achieved the prestigious designation.
TELCOR, which specializes in software solutions for laboratory revenue cycle management and point of care testing, recently achieved Gold Hosting and Silver Server Platform competencies through the Microsoft Partner Network program. Attaining these competencies demonstrates TELCOR’s staff has significant experience and skill at providing Microsoft hosting and server platform solutions for its customers.

By achieving the Microsoft Partner status, TELCOR gains early access to the latest technologies, training and technical support — all of which benefit TELCOR’s customers.
The partner program includes 28 competencies, which focus on different areas of Microsoft expertise. Companies must meet specific requirements for each competency to achieve silver or gold status.
The Gold Hosting competency recognizes that TELCOR employs qualified, credentialed staff with proven experience at providing hosting solutions for customers.
The Silver Server Platform competency demonstrates TELCOR’s expertise in building, designing, deploying and supporting the Windows Server operating system, Windows Server-based applications and Microsoft server infrastructure.
Microsoft altered its longtime partner program in October 2010, giving companies an opportunity to achieve silver or gold recognition for each competency. Previously called the Microsoft Partner Program, companies formerly achieved an overall partner status at one of three levels — Gold Certified, Certified and Registered. TELCOR, a Microsoft Partner since 1999, achieved the overall Gold Certified Partner status for the past four years.
