Lincoln, Nebraska – February 27, 2018 – TELCOR Inc is a corporate benefactor of the 2018 Executive War College. This annual event, celebrating its 23rd year, gives senior lab executives, administrators and pathologists a full complement of knowledge, insights and action plans to keep laboratory organizations on the leading edge of clinical services and financial sustainability.

TELCOR is honored to present two sessions.  On Tuesday, May 1 at 7:00 a.m., Joni Crumrine and Kristina Finley will share information on productivity, cost control and account receivables management.  Based on more than 10 years of TELCOR revenue cycle management experience and data, they will present how to optimize laboratory billing staff and other key insights for revenue cycle success.

On Wednesday, Kurt Matthes and Kwami Edwards will present, “Understand Your Lab’s Revenue Mix and Profitability by CPT Code, By Payer, and By Client: Using Analytics to Identify and Guide Income-Boosting Efforts.”  Each laboratory’s performance is influenced by specialty, payer mix and network status, patient billing policies as well as the level of automation in your billing and collections process.  Kurt and Kwami, RCM Vice Presidents, will share how to access meaningful information in the right format, at the right time with the right content to adapt to change as it happens.

“Kwami and I meet with many labs each year. Regardless of a lab’s specialty, labs are challenged with acquiring meaningful data in order to adapt to change as it happens,” said Kurt Matthes. “We are excited to share information on how to take the guesswork out of decisions and move labs forward with confidence by establishing key profitability metrics pinpointing gaps and identifying trends.”
