CMS to Hold Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule Annual Public Meeting This Week

The U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will hold its Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule (CLFS) Annual Public Meeting this Friday, June 27, in Baltimore, as well as virtually.

The meeting will cover new and reconsidered clinical diagnostic laboratory test codes for the CLFS for calendar year 2026. CMS will "receive comments and recommendations (including data on which recommendations are based)" to establish payment amounts for new or revised Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System codes being considered for the CLFS in 2026.

The meeting will also provide a forum for public comments and for reconsideration requests regarding final determinations made last year on new test codes.
