Lincoln, Nebraska – October 19, 2023 – TELCOR Inc wrapped up its 15th annual RCM User Conference on Tuesday, October 17. This conference, held in Omaha for the first time, brings laboratory billing and revenue cycle professionals together for two and a half days of networking and learning.
In total, more than 200 attendees participated in the conference, which included the TELCOR Product Direction presentation sharing what’s on the roadmap, keynote speaker Alex Door, industry panel discussions covering many of the current reimbursement challenges laboratories currently face, and many TELCOR sessions and workshops sharing new features and functions.
“When our customers attend in-person, they are able to network and learn so much from each other,” said Kwami Edwards, Chief Customer Officer, TELCOR. “While virtual attendees are still able to access the sessions and learn about new features and functions.”
There was an increase of 32% of in-person attendees over the previous year, making it almost back to the same level of attendees as before the pandemic.
According to Jeff Nally, Dominion Diagnostics, the 2023 TELCOR User Group president, “We see the value in the User Group getting together once a year to network and dialog about the application, share different use cases, and how we’re using the application. We typically send most of our RCM leadership team because we see the value and we have built long-term relationships with other laboratories as well as networking with TELCOR and solving problems together.”
Being part of the TELCOR User Group community includes monthly enhancement polls where customers provide input on requested enhancements, best practice calls sharing information on processes, access to a customer discussion board for open dialogue between users, and access to a learning portal where customers can access a library of resources, training videos, version releases, and more.
